Fall Color Trip - 2023
This year we wanted to visit a less popular part of the state. Yampa is my old hunting grounds so I knew the area well. We spent two days in the Flat Tops Wilderness and then took a detour through Steamboat and then toward Silverton/Dillon on the way back. Here are a few photos from the trip:
This classic Steamboat Barn used to be out in the middle of nowhere. Now it's completely surrounded by condos and city buildings. It's very difficult to get a shot of it without newer buildings in the picture:
And a few shots from on the way home. We caught a sunset at Lake Dillon:
